Nairy Eivazy is an Iranian-Armenian independent artist and researcher based in Tehran. Her work mostly falls into the field of mixed media animation and inter-media practices. She received her M.A. in Animation from Tehran University of Art in 2018.

Her artistic and scholarly approach concentrates around the paradox of the tangible objects and the intangible concepts we access through them; She strives to investigate the potential of video, and animation as a tactile medium as a means of exploring and experiencing the abstract concepts, which goes beyond their function as a merely visual and aural perceptional tool. Especially she finds the concept of memory gathered in the material objects and emotions they evoke interesting regarding their potential to interact.
